Samsung Vibrant GPS Fix Files Leaked

Many owners of the Samsung Vibrant might have noticed that their GPS is either sub par or plain doesn't work worth a damn. Frankencat over at XDA took the GPS files from the recently leaked Samsung Vibrant firmware and put it in a nice little easy to flash zip file for us.
The instructions posted are simple and easy to use.  Shouldn't give you any problems if you follow them exactly.  I've tried this fix and it improves on the GPS function but not perfect.

Download here: XDA Thread

Once you get this zip flashed, I suggest that you do the following for even more improved GPS functionality.

1 - Disable "Use Wireless Networks" - Settings / Location & Security

2 - Dial *#*#1472365#*#*

3 - Under "Application settings" Change "Operation Mode" to MS Based

4 - Under "SUPL/CP Settings" Change the SERVER & PORT to and port 7276 [ Do not use www. in front of supl]

6 - Turn back on the "User Wireless Networks"

******************** THEN DO THIS ***********************

Optional New Fix:

1 - Dial *#*#1472365#*#*

2 - Go outside to get an unimpeded GPS fix.

3 - Choose Delete GPS Data button.

4 - Choose Get Position Test button. Let it run for 3 min or until you have 10 to 12 Sat locks and back out.

Let me know in the comments section if this helps you or if you have any questions. All credit for the information and files goes to the various devs over at XDA.
